<p>Memphis, TN</p> <p>DSG8671</p> <p>Human Resources Generalist - Memphis, TN</p> <p>Exceptional opportunity for an HR Generalist with a Nationally recognized and highly respected local organization.</p> <p>RESPONSIBILITIES:</p> <ul> <li>Implement human resources programs and services, including talent acquisition, staffing, employment processing, compensation, health and welfare benefits, training and development, records management, safety and health, succession planning, employee relations and retention, and completing personnel transactions </li><li>Research and provide support administering company benefit plans. </li><li>Manage the annual open enrollment process and administer employee leave process </li><li>Assist in reporting and documenting workers' compensation incidents and claims </li><li>Assist with payroll processing </li><li>Leads the creation of a recruiting and interviewing plan for each open position, identifying effective sources, and efficiently and effectively assist in filling open positions </li><li>Assists in benchmarking positions against the market to ensure competitive compensation </li><li>Prepares and maintains company salary structure, job documentation, and job evaluation systems </li><li>Perform new employee orientation and manage entry records of new staff </li><li>Administers and explains benefits to employees, serves as liaison between employees and health and welfare vendors </li><li>Coordinates the resolution of specific policy-related and procedural problems and inquiries </li><li>Recommends, develops and maintains human resource databases, computer software systems, and electronic filing systems </li><li>Conducts exit interviews </li></ul> <p>QUALIFICATIONS:</p> <p>Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Human Resources or related field</p> <p>Minimum 2-3 years of Human Resources or related work experience</p> <p>Proven work experience in other HRIS systems</p> <p>Working knowledge of Microsoft products including Word, PowerPoint and Excel</p> <p>SHRM-CP certification is preferred</p> <p>Understanding the importance of employee and company confidentiality</p> <p>Proficient computer software and HRIS skills</p> <p>Knowledge of laws governing human resource issues</p> <p>Please forward resume(s) to dsummerfield@summerfield.net</p> <p>SUMMERFIELD ASSOCIATES, INC. is an award winning and nationally recognized leader in the consulting and recruiting industry.
