Evercore seeks to hire an Associate for its Advanced Data & Analytics team located in New York, NY.</p> <p>Primary Responsibilities: We're seeking a highly motivated Associate to join a new and growing team focused on applying artificial intelligence and machine learning to transform investment banking workflows. In this role, you'll design and implement solutions that enhance how deal teams analyze opportunities, assess markets, and generate materials. Working in a small, focused team, you'll take ownership of high-impact initiatives while collaborating with bankers and senior stakeholders. This is a hands-on, high-visibility role at the intersection of finance, applied AI, and analytics, ideal for someone who wants to shape how next-generation technology is integrated into investment banking. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:</p> <ul> <li>Extract insights from structured and unstructured financial, market, and client data </li><li>Automate and streamline creation of deal documents, pitchbooks, and client-ready materials, improving both efficiency and quality </li><li>Power analytical tools that strengthen decision-making across the firm </li><li>Enable bankers to spend more time on strategy and client engagement by embedding AI-driven intelligence into everyday workflows </li></ul> <p>Specific Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Proficiency in Python with experience in applied analytics and ML model development </li><li>Familiarity with machine learning methods (e.g., forecasting, classification, natural language processing) and interest in applying them to banking and client materials </li><li>Intellectual curiosity about AI's role in reshaping financial services and practical interest in experimenting with new tools </li><li>Strong verbal communication skills, able to explain technical work clearly to non-technical audiences, including senior bankers </li><li>Organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple high-impact projects with guidance </li><li>Minimum 3-6 years of analytics, data science, or banking experience </li><li>Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, or related) </li></ul> <p>Expected Base Salary Range: $170,000-$200,000</p> <p>In addition to a competitive base salary, employees may be eligible to receive a discretionary bonus delivered in the form of cash and/or deferred equity.
