<p>We are currently seeking a Software Developer to join our Design Technology team at HOK, a global design, architecture, engineering and planning firm. As an AI-focused Software Developer, you will be responsible for working with internal teams to develop custom software applications and integrate AI capabilities into workflows while contributing to open-source projects managed by HOK. Responsibilities under this role include, but are not limited to:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Provides expertise and advisement in the development of software solutions for enterprise and project teams.</p> </li><li> <p>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI capabilities into software applications.</p> </li><li> <p>Conduct research of the latest advancements in AI technology.</p> </li><li> <p>Provide support and assistance to internal teams.</p> </li><li> <p>Fosters a commitment to external and internal client service.</p> </li><li> <p>Takes personal responsibility for fostering a green workplace through sustainable work.</p> </li></ul> <p>REQUIRED SKILLS:</p> <ul> <li>Experience with frontend web development using HTML, CSS, JavaScript/Typescript, React, Electron, or similar. </li><li>Experience with backend and storage technologies like Node.JS, ASP.NET, SQL, MongoDB. </li><li>Experience with programming/scripting languages such as: C#, Python, C++. </li><li>Experience with LLMs like OpenAI, and tools like Ollama for local LLMs. </li><li>Experience with Stable Diffusion, A1111, ComfyUI and Loras as plus. </li><li>Ability to effectively meet and accommodate deadlines on multiple projects. </li><li>Ability to work in a team environment. Experience using GIT in a collaborative manner a plus. </li><li>Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing and provide timely feedback and guidance to the Design team. </li></ul> <p>EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, architecture, engineering or related field required. </li><li>Experience with Azure Develops or similar technologies. </li><li>Minimum one-year specialist knowledge of software development for building architectural applications preferred. </li><li>Experience working and coordinating with integrated teams. </li></ul>
