<p>Description</p> <p>Job Overview:</p> <p>As a Host, you'll be responsible for overseeing the service of members and guests in the dining room. Greets and seats members/guests, maintains order and cleanliness and assures that member/guest satisfaction standards are consistently attained.</p> <p>Your Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Greets members and guests, seats members. Taking reservations, answering phone. </li><li>Provide menus. </li><li>Suggests and describes various appetizers, entrees, desserts, alcoholic beverages and wine to members and guests </li><li>Handles member/guest complaints and problems and relays to Manager on Duty. </li><li>Assures all safety, accident and emergency policies and procedures are consistently followed. </li><li>Inspects dining room to ensure proper maintenance of a clean and orderly area. </li><li>Coordinate with wait staff about available seating options. </li><li>Assists with table clearing and resetting as needed. </li><li>Greet members upon their departure </li></ul> <p>Skills & Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>GED or High School Diploma </li><li>Prior Food and Beverage experience preferred </li><li>Excellent verbal communication skills required </li><li>Knowledgeable of proper food handling procedures </li><li>Strong customer service, communication and interpersonal skills required. </li></ul> <p>Physical Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Ability to lift 30 - 50 lbs. </li><li>Work in an upright standing or sitting position for long periods of time. </li><li>Reach with hands and arms. </li><li>Communicate, receive, and exchange ideas and information by means of the spoken and written word. </li></ul> <p>Supervisory Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>No supervisory responsibilities </li></ul> <p>Additional Information</p> <ul> <li>Schedule: Varies </li></ul> <p>Compensation: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour</p> <p>Disclaimer Statement</p> <p>This is not an all-inclusive job description; therefore, management has the right to assign or reassign schedules, duties, and responsibilities to this job at any time.</p>
