Ensure economic, punctual, and safe aircraft handling while optimizing processes and coordinating every step.</p> <p>If you're ready to take control and make every second count, apply now!</p> <p>Tasks</p> <p>Your main tasks include, among others:</p> <ul> <li>Coordinate Weight & Balance with LHG Load Control </li><li>Maintain trip files, reports, and statistical data </li><li>Supervise ramp functions and handling agents </li><li>Conduct operational safety/load security checks </li><li>Oversee all aircraft handling phases, incl. fueling, boarding & cargo handling </li><li>Ensure proper cargo/luggage securing and passenger/luggage/fuel tracking </li><li>Collaborate with ramp staff, airport managers & gate teams </li><li>Monitor handling performance, report delays & implement improvements </li><li>Conduct briefings, enforce safety standards & optimize operations </li><li>Support troubleshooting, procedural updates & cost-efficient handling </li><li>Takeover of additional projects and/or duties required or assigned </li></ul> <p>Requirements</p> <p>To thrive in this role, we value a combination of the following requirements:</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma/GED required </li><li>Bachelor's degree preferred </li><li>1-3 years of experience in aircraft handling or passenger/gate processes preferred </li><li>Fluency in English required; German language skills desirable </li><li>Knowledge of Lufthansa or other airline operations and airport procedures </li><li>Completion of Aircraft Handling Training, including DCS systems </li><li>Valid ALS Qualification and knowledge of Emergency Response (SERP) planning </li><li>Proficiency in MS Office and general PC skills </li><li>Must possess a legal work permit in the U.S. </li><li>Assessment screening may be required </li><li>Willingness to travel </li><li>Must possess a valid driver's license </li><li>Able to work shifts, overtime, and handle high-pressure situations </li><li>Capable of lifting up to 70 lbs. </li><li>CV/Resume required </li><li>Company may provide relocation assistance </li></ul> <p>About Deutsche Lufthansa AG</p> <p>The Lufthansa Group is an aviation group with operations worldwide.
