<p>Division 20, Charlotte, NC</p> <p>Summary</p> <p>Assist in the installation of wet, dry, pre-action and deluge fire protection piping, valves and accessories for commercial, residential buildings, and industrial applications in compliance with current codes.</p> <p>Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.</p> <ul> <li>Assist in the installation and repair of fire sprinkler systems per specifications </li><li>Lays out strings (pipe) along designated pipeline settings in field. </li><li>Connects pipe, using snap lock or wrench to tighten collar clamp. </li><li>Attaches revolving sprinkler heads to vertical pipes at designated points along pipeline. </li><li>Communicate with foreman and/or superintendent any safety hazards and discrepancies found on job site. </li><li>Maintain a clean and safe work area. </li><li>Adhere to company safe working policies and procedures at all times. </li></ul> <p>Additional Requirements:</p> <p>Pre-employment drug screens; overtime may be required.</p> <p>Education and/or Experience</p> <p>High School Diploma or GED; or 0-6 months related experience or training.</p>
