Since 1905, Hydro has turned natural resources into valuable products for people and businesses with focus on a safe and good workplace for our 30,000 employees in more than 140 locations.</p> <p>Job Location: Yankton, SD</p> <p>Hydro employees can enjoy several benefits including:</p> <ul> <li>Medical, Rx, Dental, Disability, Life Insurance, Flexible Spending Accounts </li><li>Retirement Savings Plans with Company Match/Contributions </li><li>Education Assistance </li><li>Bonus Plan Eligibility </li><li>Parental Leave </li></ul> <p>Starting Rate of pay: $17.00</p> <p>$500 Sign-on Bonus</p> <p>Shifts Available and Hours:</p> <p>7am-7pm 4x4</p> <p>7pm-7am 4x4</p> <p>Job Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Learns how to identify mechanical problems with the finish saw and develops working relationship with maintenance resources. </li><li>Understands where to find the product cut length as denoted for the process and what an acceptable frequency of verification is i.e - Shift change, stoppages, new dies/orders, first cut and last cut. </li><li>Understands where to find cut tolerance for each customer/order to assure cut length adherence. </li><li>Learns proper saw blade coolant, oil levels, and correct fluids to cut product effectively. </li><li>Helps empty saw chip collector at the end of each shift or as needed; contacts fork-lift driver when chips dumpsters are full. </li><li>Protects and handles material with care to prevent scratches, dents, and any damage that can occur in transition. </li><li>Ability to operate manufacturing equipment specific to their position efficiently/safely. </li></ul> <p>Education and Experience Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Must be at least 18 years or older. </li><li>Ability to read and use a tape measure that shows measurements in feet and inches. </li><li>High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
