Maintain attention to detail and enforce work-place safety requirements while meeting tight deadlines efficiently and effectively.</p> <ul> <li>Ensure accuracy of blueprints, takeoffs and manage variance to budgets. </li><li>Coordinate supply/trade issues in project with purchasing department. </li><li>Builder partnership: </li><li>Ensure quality standards are being met throughout project. </li><li>Coordinate builder loading, start timing and pace </li><li>Monitor builder communication with sales orders to maximize closings and customer satisfaction while conducting weekly team meetings. </li><li>Review/approve sub-contractor purchase orders. </li><li>Conducts weekly individual planned encounters. </li></ul> <p>Required Experience</p> <ul> <li>2+ years construction experience </li><li>Valid driver's license with reliable automobile for on-site use. </li><li>Ability to work in the Manatee/Sarasota County area. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Experience</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree - Construction Management. </li><li>Knowledge of building codes </li><li>2+ years of residential home building experience </li><li>Homebuilding software experience (e.g. BuildPro). </li><li>Supervisory Experience </li></ul> <p>Work Environment</p> <ul> <li>Representative of an office/field setting. </li><li>The noise level is usually quiet to moderate. </li></ul> <p>Physical Demands</p> <p>This role is regularly required to:</p> <ul> <li>Walk, climb stairs, sit, and stand. </li><li>Reach with hands and arms. </li><li>See with close and distance vision </li><li>Use hands and fingers to operate tools and other business machines. </li><li>Lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. </li></ul> <p>This document describes the minimum, essential duties, responsibilities, skills, abilities, effort, and working conditions of the position.
