At Johns Island Post Acute, we value the relationships we have in our community, with our fellow colleagues, and also with residents and family members.</p> <p>We are currently seeking a housekeeper to join our expanding team!</p> <p>We offer:</p> <ul> <li>Competitive pay: $15-17 p/h </li><li>401k matching </li><li>Multiple healthcare plans to select from with vision & dental (For Full Time) </li><li>Advancement opportunities throughout our network in SC </li><li>Professional development opportunities </li></ul> <p>Successful candidates will have the following:</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or equivalent </li><li>Experience in a Long-Term Care or healthcare setting would be beneficial but not essential </li></ul> <p>HOUSEKEEPING: Essential Duties:</p> <ul> <li>Maintain all public and common areas throughout the day including lobby, restrooms, drinking fountains and floors. </li><li>Maintain the cleanliness of resident rooms and bathrooms. </li><li>Maintain handrails to ensure they are clean and free of debris. </li><li>Clean and remove dust, dirt or food off walls, mirrors, windows, light fixtures. towel bars, towel dispensers. </li><li>Empty trash cans and replace liners. </li><li>Sweep and mop floors. </li><li>Utilize proper safety measures when cleaning, including the use of caution signage and keeping supplies and chemicals out of reach of the residents. </li><li>Maintain housekeeping carts, equipment and storage areas in a safe, sanitary, clean and orderly manner. </li><li>Excellent customer skills and positive attitude. </li><li>Ability to work independently or with a team </li><li>Ability to pass a drug screen & federal background check </li></ul>
