This is a great opportunity to join a dynamic, fast-growing global company committed to making the world a healthier place for all.</p> <p>This is a hybrid role, based in any of our US offices-including New York City, Boston, Chicago, Carmel, or San Francisco-or remotely within the US, depending on team and business needs.</p> <p>Job Summary:</p> <p>Real Chemistry delivers exceptional meeting and speaker bureau experiences for pharmaceutical and biotech companies. The Client Manager is a bridge between the client and their speaker bureau project needs. Client Managers bring expertise required to stand up and manage a speaker bureau. This position supervises and monitors the successful delivery of all programming communications, logistical deliverables, registration, on-site team coordination, vendor arrangements and transportation to ensure quality support, responsiveness, and competitiveness. He or she also defines project scope and objectives and develops detailed project budgets, work plans, schedules, and status reports. The Client Manager is responsible for ongoing budget management, including revenue recognition and client invoicing activities. This position conducts client status meetings, internal project meetings, and ensures adherence to quality standards. The Client Manager is in a position of leadership within the agency and must successfully partner with the Program Coordination and Compliance teams to manage projects within an account or spanning multiple accounts. The success of this position relies on the success of the team, meeting clients' expectations, partnering with cross-functional departments, and individual performance. The Client Manager must have full knowledge of and abide by all industry guidelines as well as possess the ability to lead others in this area to ensure the work that we do is in complete compliance with all regulations and client policies and procedures.</p> <p>What you'll do:</p> <p>Account Management Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li> <p>Drive partnerships with clients by having and applying knowledge of their products and objectives</p> </li><li> <p>Act as liaison between client and project teams</p> </li><li> <p>Ensure strategic and implementation objectives are met with each client project</p> </li><li> <p>Support organic growth opportunities for the account through a strong understanding of Real Chemistry capabilities, client needs, and attention to buying signals</p> </li><li> <p>Drive brainstorming sessions and annual planning</p> </li><li> <p>Execute client status meetings and prepare all meeting materials</p> </li><li> <p>Monitor the overall project scope from a client and account perspective and communicate scope changes when necessary</p> </li><li> <p>Provide final approval on all deliverables to ensure strategic objectives are met</p> </li><li> <p>Develop and communicate status reports with management and the client; monitor project and team results against client expectations</p> </li></ul> <p>Project Management Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li> <p>Collaborate with cross-functional teams on project timelines and communication processes/requirements</p> </li><li> <p>Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget</p> </li><li> <p>Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders, during project initiation</p> </li><li> <p>Develop detailed project budgets as part of the business development process</p> </li><li> <p>Plan, schedule, and monitor work to meet quality targets in accordance with relevant guidelines</p> </li><li> <p>Monitor project budgets, including transactions, on a weekly basis</p> </li><li> <p>Collaborate with finance team members on revenue recognition/invoicing processes</p> </li><li> <p>Perform risk planning and mitigation to minimize project risks</p> </li><li> <p>Participate in project audits, ensuring adherence to project management methodology</p> </li><li> <p>Skillfully resolve cross-functional issues, using intermediate problem-solving techniques</p> </li></ul> <p>Administrative/Additional Functions</p> <ul> <li> <p>Help create service or departmental standard operating procedures</p> </li><li> <p>Participate in continuing professional development activities</p> </li><li> <p>Act as mentor to junior staff</p> </li><li> <p>This position may require overnight/weekend travel (up to 10%)</p> </li><li> <p>This position is required to work occasional nonstandard work hours (up to 20%) in accordance with project needs, deadlines, deliverables, and urgent client requests</p> </li></ul> <p>What you should have:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Associate's degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred</p> </li><li> <p>Minimum of 3 years of project management/leadership experience required</p> </li><li> <p>Minimum of 3 years of experience in programming or client services required</p> </li><li> <p>Minimum of 3 years of experience in budget management</p> </li></ul> <p>Pay Range: $65,000-$70,000</p> <p>This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on job-related, non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to work experience, skills, certifications, and geographical location. We have office locations in cities in the US and Europe with many employees and clients that serve as hubs where and when they need us. For employees who are within an hour of one of our offices, we expect attendance in the office two days per week, either at a Real Chemistry office or onsite with clients. We are not looking for attendance for the sake of attendance but believe that the opportunity to coordinate in-office team meetings, 1:1 meetings with managers, taking advantage of on-site learning, and connecting with client partners is a critical to delivering on our purpose of making healthcare what it should be.
