<p>Student Services Associate</p> <p>Location New Castle</p> <p>Job Code 1618</p> <p># of Openings 1</p> <p>Apply Now</p> <p>EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY</p> <p>DATE: May 15, 2025</p> <p>FROM: Human Resources</p> <p>POSITION: Student Services Associate (PT)</p> <p>Effective immediately: Part-time Student Services Associate in Wilmington University's Student Engagement Center- New Castle.</p> <p>Requirements: A High school diploma or equivalent is required. An associate's degree is preferred. This individual must possess excellent interpersonal communication, customer service, and organizational skills and be able to lead and develop relationships with key stakeholders. Must be detail-oriented and able to work with diverse populations. Must possess critical decision-making skills such as problem-solving, emotional intelligence, and collaboration. Must be self-directed and able to make decisions independently. Must demonstrate communication skills, telephone etiquette, patience, computer competencies, accuracy, and customer service orientation. Knowledge of and experience in delivering student and enrollment services preferred. Experience with student-related systems such as Banner, Recruit, and BDM, preferred. Experience with computerized student information systems, preferably Ellucian, is preferred. Knowledge of Microsoft Office, such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, is required. Demonstrated data analysis and reporting skills required. The ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality in any situation is necessary. Must demonstrate respect for diversity in the workplace and a commitment to creating an inclusive and supportive work environment that values the contributions of all employees.</p> <p>Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):</p> <ul> <li>Answer all incoming calls politely, provide pertinent information to the caller, and transfer the call to the appropriate source if requested. </li><li>Prioritize student service above all other responsibilities. </li><li>Respond and or relay voicemails and other messages to the proper location within the University. </li><li>Respond to emails and texts as appropriate. </li><li>Self-monitor call times for adherence to efficiency goals. </li><li>Promote and foster an inclusive and diverse environment for all students, faculty, and staff. </li><li>Performs other duties as assigned by the coordinator and/or Directors of the Student Engagement Center. </li></ul> <p>Hours of Employment: Generally, Monday-Friday, 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. or as needed. The incumbent must be flexible with their hours to meet the needs of the department and the University.
