<p>Kforce has a client that is seeking to hire a Senior Accountant in New York City, New York (NY).</p> <p>Responsibilities Include:</p> <ul> <li>The Senior Accountant is responsible for the preparation and review of financial statements in accordance with US GAAP and IFRS Investment Company Accounting </li><li>Interact with the external audit and tax reporting processes with big 4 firms </li><li>Compile, analyze, and prepare funds' financial data and operating metrics </li><li>Credit facility loan administration and compliance </li><li>As a Senior Accountant, you will coordinate with banks for foreign currency exchange and derivative transactions </li><li>Coordinate with fund administrator for accounting and reporting matters </li><li>Prepare and review investor reports, capital call, and distribution notices </li><li>Maintain investor commitments and capital account statements </li><li>Support investor relations team with data collection and ad-hoc requests calculate management fee and waterfall </li><li>The Senior Accountant will assist with providing financial information needed for compliance and regulatory filings* CPA certification </li><li>2-4+ years of experience </li><li>Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel </li><li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills </li><li>Team oriented </li><li>Demonstrated leadership ability and initiative </li><li>Ability to multitask with good time management skills to meet multiple reporting deadlines </li><li>Fund administration and accounting experience preferred </li><li>Experience with Investran is a plus </li></ul>
