Unleash your talent and redefine what's possible.</p> <p>Job Description:</p> <p>Parsons has a career opportunity for an amazingly talented Engineering Manager to join our team in Columbia, South Carolina!</p> <p>What You'll Be Doing:</p> <ul> <li>Responsible for leading an Engineering discipline or a major section within one of the larger disciplines. </li><li>On major programs, you will manage all engineering and design efforts for all disciplines required for the program </li><li>Monitors the quality and progress of the discipline on each project, ensuring that production requirements are satisfied. </li><li>Partners closely with Project Managers to resolve any existing or forecasted problems related to discipline staffing, quality of work, schedule performance, or productivity. </li><li>Supports pre-contract and business development efforts as required, serving as technical consultant. </li><li>Manages staffing levels. </li><li>Provides input and direction as it relates to business development efforts in the region. </li><li>Serves as the discipline lead for structural engineering in South Carolina. </li></ul> <p>What Required Skills You'll Bring:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (or related field) </li><li>15+ years of related work experience, including supervisory/managerial experience </li><li>P.E. license </li></ul> <p>Security Clearance Requirement:</p> <p>None</p> <p>This position is part of our Critical Infrastructure team.</p> <p>For more than 80 years, our experts have designed and delivered the critical infrastructure that connects and protects communities around the world.
