Join our team that enjoys a friendly, fast-paced work environment that strives to make every experience memorable for our guests.</p> <p>JOB SUMMARY:</p> <p>Responsible for providing outstanding customer service to guests by greeting, taking order, delivering food, and bussing while using service initiatives.</p> <p>KEY JOB FUNCTIONS:</p> <ul> <li>Interacts with guests and co-workers in a helpful, positive, upbeat, and professional manner while delivering the order to guests, and bussing and cleaning of dining area. </li><li>Remove dirty dishes, glassware, and flatware from tables and countertops, transports to dish area, and maneuvers carts in confined spaces. </li><li>Responsible for the monitoring and replenishing of all food and beverage products in work area by stocking counters. </li><li>Change out pop bibs as needed throughout shift. </li><li>Ensures work area is neat, clean and sanitized before throughout shift by wiping counter areas, beverage stations, sinks, and floors as required to maintain a clean and safe workstation. </li><li>Partners with culinary team to work as a team to ensure coordinated workflow during shift to meet business demands and ensure customer satisfaction. </li><li>Maintains all equipment in proper fashion. </li><li>Recognizes Diamond and Seven Stars guests and ensures they receive the appropriate service. </li><li>Knows and promotes current hotel and casino events and programs and can give guests directions to all areas. </li><li>Adheres to regulatory, safety, departmental and company policies. </li><li>Supports safety and accident prevention programs (non slip footwear, proper lifting). </li><li>Accountable for meeting or exceeding all State of Mississippi and Horseshoe sanitation requirements (ServSafe). </li><li>Presents oneself as a credit to Company and encourages others to do the same. </li><li>Performs all other related and compatible duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma, GED or comparable experience preferred. </li><li>Previous cash handling/customer service experience preferred. </li></ul> <p>QUALIFICATIONS:</p> <ul> <li>Must be able to perform multiple tasks simultaneously. </li><li>Must be a team player. </li><li>Good oral communication skills including tact when dealing with difficult customers, must be able to communicate in English to respond to guests as needed. </li><li>Must be able to maintain a neat, well-groomed, professional appearance and uphold the company appearance standards. </li><li>Able to be on feet for entire shift. </li><li>Ability to constantly lift up to 30 lbs. Ability to frequently lift up to 60 lbs. </li><li>Ability to push/pull carts weighing up to 90 lbs. </li><li>Mobility to move quickly and easily throughout the restaurant and kitchen areas. </li><li>Ability to grasp, finger dexterity, hand-eye coordination. </li><li>Ability to hear and use visual inspection. </li><li>Ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, reach and climb stairs. </li></ul> <p>WORK ENVIRONMENT:</p> <ul> <li>Must be able to work in areas containing dust, second hand smoke, varying noise and temperature levels, lighting, vibration, crowds and air quality. </li><li>Must be able to work in a fast paced environment. </li><li>Must be flexible with schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required. </li></ul>
