<p>Title: Rehab Neuropsychologist</p> <p>Department Org: Rehab Psychology Svcs - 109260</p> <p>Employee Classification: J1 - Salaried Full Time HSC</p> <p>Bargaining Unit: Professional Staff Association</p> <p>Primary Location: HSC H</p> <p>Shift: 1</p> <p>Start Time: 0800 End Time: 1630</p> <p>Posted Salary: Salary commensurate with experience</p> <p>Float: True</p> <p>Rotate: True</p> <p>On Call: False</p> <p>Travel: True</p> <p>Weekend/Holiday: False</p> <p>Job Description:</p> <p>To provide neuropsychological services for patients and families of the University of Toledo Medical Center rehabilitation services, including application of neuropsychological procedures of assessment, diagnosis, prevention, and/or treatment of neuropsychological problems or emotional disorders related to disability, and implementation of programming/educational components of the rehabilitation process to improve the patient's and family's adaptation to disability. To provide consultative services to UTMC students and professional staff external to the Department of PM&R, and to act as an educational and research resource for staff and students of UTMC. To provide supervision of other staff involved in the delivery of psychosocial services to inpatients and outpatients of UTMC rehabilitation services.</p> <p>Minimum Qualifications:</p> <p>Qualifications/Knowledge, Skills & Abilities</p> <p>Education/experience/licensing:</p> <ul> <li>A doctorate degree in clinical or counseling psychology or neuropsychology is required </li><li>Must be registered and/or maintain current licensure from Ohio State Board of Psychology. </li><li>Successful completion of a two-year (2) postdoctoral fellowship in Clinical Neuropsychology or equivalent (example: two - one (1) year fellowships) is required </li><li>Maintains the Standards set by the American Psychological Association regarding treatment procedure and professional ethics. </li><li>American Heart Association CPR required and must be maintained throughout employment in position. </li><li>Passes annual safety test. </li><li>Achieves competencies for assigned work area as dictated by director (i.e., age specific, suctioning, aseptic technique). </li></ul> <p>Conditions of Employment:</p> <p>To promote the highest levels of health and well-being, the University of Toledo campuses are tobacco-free.
