<p>Position: Food Bank Coordinator</p> <p>Classification: Non- Exempt</p> <p>Reports to: Client Resources Manager</p> <p>Location: Denver</p> <p>Salary Rate:</p> <p>Level 1 (Entry level up to 2 years of direct experience): $24.04 per hour</p> <p>Level II (3+ years of direct experience): $25.19 per hour</p> <p>Bilingual premium for qualifying languages is 3.5% higher than starting salary if pass bilingual exam on first week of hire.</p> <p>About Us</p> <p>At Colorado Health Network (CHN), we believe that our employees are our most valuable asset. The coordinator is often the first point of contact in the food bank and works in a client-facing capacity to distribute food to eligible clients, patients and participants.</p> <p>Essential Job Functions:</p> <ul> <li>Ensures that all purchases are appropriate with current guidance from funders in relation to food and supplies for Food Bank operation. </li><li>Schedules pick-up and delivery of Food Bank items, as well as unloads/loads vehicle, as needed. </li><li>Ensures HIV -specific nutritional information are available at the Food Bank. </li><li>Maintains collaborations with organizations that support the mission of the Food Bank. </li><li>Trains, schedules, and supervises Food Bank volunteers. </li><li>Maintains a clean and welcoming environment in the Food Bank. </li><li>With the assistance of the Operations Facilities Manager, ensures that all repairs at the Food Bank are completed in a timely manner. </li><li>Maintains accurate statistics on purchases, trends, client level data, etc. for Food Bank. </li><li>Prepares monthly, quarterly and annual reports as needed for internal usage and external distribution. </li><li>Collaboratively works with facilities manager to ensure CHN Food Bank vehicles are in excellent working order. Works with other Food Bank staff to ensure that all required maintenance and repairs are completed on schedule or as needed. </li><li>Maintains sanitary conditions for the Food Bank as well as food safety compliance. </li><li>Coordinates volunteer/intern schedules and trainings as needed for Food Bank service hours. </li><li>Provides ongoing support and supervision for Food Bank volunteers/interns. </li><li>Attends all department meetings, in-services, and trainings </li><li>Other duties as assigned. </li></ul>
