<p>Position: Short Term Substitute Trumpet Instructor in the Lifelong Music Academy After School Private Lesson Program Position Type: Temporary, Anticipated date: February 3, 2026 to April 28, 2026. There are no lessons on February 17, 2026 or April 21, 2026 during school vacation week. Hourly Pay: $53.00 per teaching hour Location: Franklin High School Schedule:</p> <ul> <li>Tuesday evenings, currently 6:15-8:00 pm. </li><li>The schedule could expand to an earlier time if new students sign up. </li></ul> <p>Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Professional musician with prior experience teaching one-on-one lessons to students of varying abilities. </li><li>Extensive knowledge of sheet music and curriculum appropriate to students of varying abilities. </li><li>Offer will be contingent upon successfully passing Criminal Offender (CORI) background check and national fingerprinting screening (CHRI). </li></ul> <p>Additional Details: Private music lessons are offered to elementary, middle school, and high school students, as well as adults. Instructors are Franklin Public Schools employees and are paid bi-weekly.
