Whether you're introducing music theory, teaching kids their scales, or mentoring future band leaders, you'll be making a real impact in the lives of the youth we serve!</p> <p>What You'll Do:</p> <p>Teach Fun & Engaging Lessons - Lead creative activities and lessons to introduce youth to music!</p> <p>Create a Welcoming Space - Foster a supportive, inclusive environment where kids feel encouraged to express themselves and try new things</p> <p>Inspire Confidence & Creativity - Help kids develop various music skills and disciplines, inspire interest in music, and build kid's confidence in music</p> <p>Be a Mentor & Role Model - Encourage positive social interactions and personal growth in every student</p> <p>Ensure Safety & Organization - Maintain a structured, safe, and fun learning environment</p> <p>What We're Looking For:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Age 18+</p> </li><li> <p>Passion for Teaching Music - At least 2 years' experience in music education, youth music lessons, or leading other music enrichment activities to school aged kids! ?</p> </li><li> <p>Creative & Engaging Personality - Ability to keep kids excited, curious, and engaged in learning activities</p> </li><li> <p>Great Communication Skills - Ability to connect with kids, families, and team members while leading activities effectively ?</p> </li><li> <p>Organized & Adaptable - Comfortable leading structured activities while making adjustments to meet students' needs</p> </li><li> <p>Certifications:</p> </li><li> <p>CPR, First Aid, and AED Certification from the American Red Cross, American Heart Association, or ASHI (must be obtained within 60 days of hire, no online only certifications accepted).</p> </li><li> <p>This position requires the final candidate to successfully pass an E-Verify check.
