Join our team and bring your best self to the table.</p> <p>What you will be doing</p> <p>An Albertsons IT Service & Delivery Technician III is a vital role in any organization that relies on technology. You will be traveling store to store installing, configuring, testing, and deploying hardware and software systems across various platforms and devices. This sometimes will require overnight or early morning shifts, depending on the project. You will also provide technical support and training to end-users, ensuring that they can use the technology you deployed effectively and efficiently. You will be working with a team of IT professionals to plan and execute projects, such as upgrading network infrastructure, migrating data, or deploying new hardware. Being an IT service & delivery technician is not only rewarding, but also fun and exciting!</p> <p>The position will be based around the NH Seacoast and Northern MA, Ideally around Wakefield, MA However, you will be traveling to different Albertsons owned stores daily. This includes locations throughout Southern New Hampshire and Northern Massachusetts.</p> <p>Main responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Support standard hardware platforms and systems installed throughout Shaw's </li><li>Repair all approved standard technology hardware including PC/Server hardware, Network hardware, RF hardware, and printers. </li><li>Provide complete recoverability of systems and applications. </li><li>Trouble shoot resolution. </li><li>Installation of new hardware and software. </li><li>Provide customers with IT support; meet goals for service level agreements. </li><li>Provide network and remote connectivity (hardware/software) support. </li><li>Maintain equipment inventory controls and policies. </li><li>Work with Support Center (STSC) on assignment of problems, support issues and concerns with computer systems. </li><li>Interface with all Corporate IT groups for on-site support and technology resolutions. </li><li>Adhere to repair standards and service levels established. </li><li>Driving required for this Zone Service Area. </li><li>Role includes up to 25% travel </li></ul> <p>What we are searching for</p> <ul> <li>Excellent telephone, customer service and problem-solving skills with the ability to gather important information to resolve high pressure issues/situations (for remote locations) </li><li>Excellent communication and Interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively present technical information and tailor responses for customer understanding. </li><li>Working knowledge of IT hardware, installation models and Windows, MS Office, and related applications. </li><li>Demonstrated ability to work independently and be a strong collaborative partner in a matrixed organization. </li><li>Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, day, evening and overnight, as well as on-call support capacity. </li><li>Strong sense of urgency, business ethics, dependability and follow through. </li><li></li></ul> <p>We believe the successful candidate has these qualifications and experience:</p> <ul> <li>High school graduate, BA/BS degree preferred, or 3+ year's technical/training/hardware certifications preferred. </li><li>Information Technology project implementation exposure with 5+ year's technical systems and 2+ years of technical support experience. </li><li>2+ years' experience with retail store systems, technology systems and hardware preferred. </li><li>2+ years' experience with installation and configuration of desktop and peripheral technology preferred. </li><li>Must have a good, safe driving record. Must have a reliable vehicle for this position. </li></ul> <p>Physical Environment:</p> <ul> <li>Work may be performed in a temperature-controlled environment. </li><li>Must sit, stand, or walk for extended periods of time. </li><li>May spend long periods of time at a desk or computer terminal. </li><li>Will use keyboards, telephone, and other office equipment during normal workday. </li><li>Stooping, bending, twisting, and reaching may be required in completion of job duties. </li><li>Workday is fast paced; some evening and weekend work may be required. </li><li>Must be able to lift up-to 50 pounds of equipment, some twisting and turning with equipment installs. </li></ul> <p>What is it like at Albertsons?</p> <p>Our 290,000 associates have a passion for great service and building lasting relationships with our customers.
