The Advantage Services Manager of Programs is responsible for the successful implementation, coordination, and quality oversight of key resident programs. The core function of this role is general program management, ensuring that services are delivered effectively and meet the needs of residents. While the programmatic portfolio may evolve, the initial focus will be on the management of the Arts & Aging program and youth programs.</p> <p>ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND ASSOCIATED TASKS</p> <p>1) Program Management and Quality Assurance</p> <ul> <li>Oversee the day-to-day operations of assigned programs, including Arts & Aging and Youth programming. </li><li>Serve as the primary liaison and go-between for site staff and program partners, such as content specialists and teaching artists. </li><li>Ensure the quality of program delivery by managing the program "container"-the structure and systems that support the content delivered by partners. </li><li>Develop a strong understanding of quality standards for assigned program areas, and ensure these standards are met. </li><li>Manage assigned programming budget and maintain compliance with grant funding </li><li>While not responsible for creating all administrative materials, will coordinate with site staff on program logistics to ensure success. </li></ul> <p>2) Partnership and Stakeholder Relations</p> <ul> <li>Maintain positive working relationships with key program partners and vendors, such as teaching artists and organizations like Compass. </li><li>Effectively communicate the vision and structure of programs, as decided by leadership, to stakeholders. </li><li>In collaboration with the Associate Director, identify and nurture grassroots, resident-led program ideas that could be scaled with partner support. </li></ul> <p>3) Maintains communication flow and functions as a team member</p> <ul> <li>Engages in constructive problem solving and conflict resolution. </li><li>Follows through with own job responsibilities and assignments. </li><li>Gives and receives feedback to and from supervisor and other team members. </li><li>Provides information needed by other team members in a timely and effective manner. </li></ul> <p>Minimum Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in social work or related field OR at least four years of work experience in a related field. </li><li>Experience in program coordination or management within a social service or community-based setting. </li><li>Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. </li><li>Demonstrated experience working within diverse communities, which include people of various ages, genders, sexual orientations, national origins, income levels, ability levels, religious affiliations, races, and languages. </li><li>Strong organizational and problem-solving skills. </li><li>Ability to work well in a collaborative team environment with both internal and external partners. </li><li>Proficiency with MS Office 365. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Direct program experience or expertise in youth development. </li><li>An arts-based background to support the management of the Arts & Aging program. </li><li>Familiarity with community engagement principles and resident-led program design. </li></ul> <p>Physical Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Ability to sit for extended periods of time. </li><li>Ability to enter data into a computer. </li><li>Ability to interact verbally with internal and external audiences. </li></ul> <p>Other Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Must be willing and able to travel between sites. </li><li>Must be willing to work evenings and weekends as scheduled. </li><li>Must be willing to carry a cell phone. </li><li>Be Certified in CPR and First Aid or have the ability to become certified within six months of starting position. </li></ul> <p>This job description is intended to provide information essential to understanding the scope of the Manager of Programs position.
