You will play a pivotal role in supporting our global Manufacturing and Engineering groups. Reporting to the Group Manager, you will be responsible for sourcing Injection Plastic Molding Manufacturing equipment and tooling for current and future production projects. If you are passionate and possess the skills and motivation to excel in a challenging yet rewarding role, we invite you to join us.</p> <ul> <li>Owner of RFQ's and contract management - ensure Non-Disclosure Agreements, General Terms & Conditions, Piece Price Agreements, and other related contracts are negotiated, agreed and appropriately documented before business is initiated </li><li>Collaborate with Manufacturing and Engineering teams to align equipment and tooling requirements with project goals </li><li>Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, ensuring supply, quality, cost, and timely delivery targets </li><li>Utilize efficient project management methodologies for successful procurement outcomes and project timeline adherence </li><li>Implement strategic sourcing initiatives to optimize total costs of ownership for Tesla and its customers </li><li>Negotiate pricing, commercial terms, issue purchase orders, supporting cost management objectives, and design changes </li><li>Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or evidence of exceptional ability, or equivalent experience </li><li>2+ years of experience in Commercial Relations Management, Sourcing, Procurement, Program Management </li><li>2+ years of experience in the Manufacturing Industry </li><li>Understanding of legal contract and commercial agreement fundamentals </li><li>Expertise in should-cost estimates, analyzing supplier proposals, and manufacturing cost breakdowns </li><li>Service-oriented mindset with a focus on internal customer needs with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal </li><li>Ability to travel up to 20% of the time </li></ul>
