<p>Job Title: Mechanical Engineer</p> <p>Job Description</p> <p>We are seeking talented Mechanical Engineers to join our team and support the design and integration of advanced aircraft systems for an exciting new development program. You will have the opportunity to contribute across multiple domains of aircraft system design, including propulsion system integration, aircraft fluid systems, actuated mechanisms, electronic component installation design, and general mechanical and electrical systems installations. This position offers a chance to work in a fast-paced, small-company environment where your contributions will have a significant impact on the program's success.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Integrate propulsion systems into advanced aircraft designs. </li><li>Design aircraft fluid systems, including hydraulic, oil/coolant, and pneumatic systems. </li><li>Develop actuated mechanisms such as control surfaces, doors, flaps, and valves. </li><li>Create electronic component installation designs. </li><li>Install general mechanical and electrical systems. </li><li>Engage in hands-on integration and testing of aircraft systems. </li></ul> <p>Essential Skills</p> <ul> <li>Proficiency in CAD software, specifically CATIA V6 and 3DEXPERIENCE (3DX). </li><li>Experience in design through build processes. </li><li>Basic mechanical stress analysis skills, including hand calculations and built-in tool use. </li><li>Capability in detail design and model-based definition (MBD) documentation. </li><li>Understanding of manufacturing techniques and supply chain considerations for aircraft parts/systems. </li><li>Ability to self-task and deliver results with minimal supervision. </li></ul> <p>Additional Skills & Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Experience in multidisciplinary and integrated system development. </li><li>Hands-on experience with integrating and testing mechanical systems. </li></ul> <p>Work Environment</p> <p>Join a team that values curiosity, quick learning, and self-starting initiative.
