<p>Description</p> <p>Boulder County Human Services Department is seeking to hire an Enforcement Technician.Human Services Legal Technician II is a specialist level classification in the Human Services Legal Technician series. The Human Services Legal Technician II performs complex and specialized enforcement duties in the Department of Human Services Child Support and Investigations and Recovery units.</p> <p>This is a full-time, benefitedposition that will work Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm. This position will work out of 515 Coffman St., Longmont, Colorado. Under Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) guidelines, this position is non-exempt(eligible for overtime).</p> <p>Boulder County requires its employees to reside in the state of Colorado as of the first day of work.</p> <p>Hiring Salary Range: $60,840.00 - $74,178.00 Annually</p> <p>Position Full Salary Range: $60,840.00 - $87,516.00 Annually</p> <p>Tentative Hiring Timeline:</p> <ul> <li>First Round Interviews: Week of January 5th </li><li>Second Round Interviews: Week of January 12th </li><li>Reference Check: Week of January 12th </li></ul> <p>New employees receive an 80-hour bank of vacation at the time of hire, in addition to 8 hours of both vacation and medical leave accruals each month (Must not have been employed at Boulder County during the 12 months prior to re-hire date to qualify). Boulder County offers bountiful benefits, including pension contributions.</p> <p>Boulder County employees may qualify for Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF). Visit studentaid.gov for more information.</p> <p>Examples of Duties</p> <ul> <li>Interviews clients to obtain complex situational case details regarding specific legal information </li><li>Prepares documents and cases for attorney presentation in court hearings </li><li>Negotiates, issues and executes Administrative Orders, stipulations, judgments and liens (real and personal property) </li><li>Maintains database system with court order and financial payment information </li><li>Negotiates payment arrangements and legal settlements with involved parties </li><li>Monitors payments from obligated parties and follows up with appropriate measures related to payment collection or distribution </li><li>Exhibits specialized judgment in making appropriate case actions </li><li>Interprets and implements intricate statutory and regulatory compliance actions on State and Federal-level policies and procedures </li><li>Provides backup assistance for other co-workers as required </li><li>Performs related work, as required </li><li>May be reassigned during emergency situations </li></ul> <p>Required Qualifications</p> <p>PLEASE NOTE: When completing your application describe all relevant education and experience, as applications are assessed based on the required qualifications listed. Any combination of relevant education and experience is encouraged.
