Backed by a team of dedicated professionals and a commitment to continuous improvement, Dyno Nobel sets the standard for reliable and responsible blasting manufacturing and services worldwide.</p> <p>What You'll Do</p> <p>As the Payroll Specialist, you will process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for both U.S. and Canada. You will be part of a dynamic team who provides support in all areas of payroll. Other duties will include:</p> <ul> <li>Remit tax payments and assist with tax filings </li><li>Routinely run reports for payroll audits </li><li>Managing and processing of union payments </li><li>Process on demand payments </li><li>Communicate with site managers, time keepers, and the HR Service Center to ensure accurate hours </li><li>Assist with reconciliation questions and researching of payroll GL accounts </li><li>Communicate via phone, email or in writing with employees, benefits specialist, human resources, managers, banks, credit merchants and state or federal agencies </li><li>Prepare and assist with running and distributing monthly reports </li><li>Review and understand all company policies with respect to those polices that may govern the assigned payroll responsibilities </li><li>Perform planning primarily around individual workload in order to meet deadlines for department and business objectives </li></ul> <p>What We're Looking For:</p> <ul> <li>2+ years payroll processing experience is required. </li><li>Associates degree in accounting preferred. </li><li>Knowledge of unions and relevant laws/regulations and payroll taxes in both US and Canada preferred </li><li>Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) preferred </li><li>Experience with SAP or similar system. </li><li>Working knowledge of Excel (pivot tables, v lookups) </li><li>Positive attitude, friendly demeanor, and a team player </li></ul> <p>What We Offer:</p> <ul> <li>3 weeks vacation + 12 paid holidays + PTO days </li><li>Full health benefits including employer HSA contributions + dental plan with an orthodontic option, wellness coaching available </li><li>Up to a 4% 401k match </li><li>A generous tuition reimbursement program </li><li>General paid parental leave </li><li>Friendly and supportive coworkers </li></ul> <p>Zero Harm for Everyone Everywhere</p> <p>Value People - Respect, Recognize & Reward</p> <p>Think Customer.
