This includes obtaining patient medical information from various medical facilities and the patient to ensure a complete and accurate medical record. Schedules and coordinates appointments for special procedures and other testing. Obtains vital signs and completes nursing assessments for all patient visits.</p> <p>FUNCTIONS:</p> <ol> <li> <p>Obtaining Vital Signs/completing Nursing Assessments</p> </li><li> <p>Scheduling/Coordinating appointments</p> </li><li> <p>Collecting medical records for scheduled appointments</p> </li><li> <p>Performs medical record scanning</p> </li><li> <p>Other Duties as Assigned</p> </li></ol> <p>QUALIFICATIONS:</p> <p>High School Diploma or equivalent</p> <p>Assisting in a clinic for 2 years or more preferred</p> <p>Oncology clinic experience highly preferred</p> <p>CMA (certified medical assistant) certification required from a national testing agency (NHA, NCCT, AAMA, NAHP etc.)</p> <p>BLS CPR certification required</p>
