With more than 60 years of expertise, GD-OTS designs, develops, manufactures, and tests a full range of composite missile and space structures, including rocket motors, pressure vessels, launch tubes and fuel tanks.</p> <p>Internal Applications Closed.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Assists engineers with the development and implementation of automation systems or components. </li><li>Programs, installs, tests, and maintains robots or automated components. </li><li>Assists in the commissioning and deployment of new automation installations, conducts field trials to ensure appropriate operation, and prepares reports or records documenting actions or findings. </li><li>Investigate and troubleshoots defects or bugs, complete repairs and provides preventative maintenance. </li></ul> <p>Manager Specific Requests:</p> <ul> <li>Programs and troubleshoots PLCs and associated control systems. </li><li>Reads and understands equipment schematics. </li><li>Designs simple electronic control systems, specifies control equipment, builds and installs control systems. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Vocational/Technical Training Degree & 3-5 years' experience OR Equivalent Combination of RelevantEducation and/or Experience. </li><li>Preferred: Associate's Degree </li></ul>
