We have 24/7 intensivist support within the department. Our typical ratio post surgical open heart and advanced devices are 1:1 until stabilized, otherwise, traditional 2:1 patient/RN ratio is the normal. We work closely with our CVOR, cathlab and PCU units to best provide care to our cardiovascular service line patients. We are a dynamic, multicultural team that enjoys working together and team work is key to our successes.
