<p>Bilingual Family Support Worker Healthy Families</p> <p>$38,000.00 - $40,500.00 per year</p> <p>Do you enjoy helping others reach their full potential? The Villages is seeking dedicated individuals to provide family support services to new parents through the Healthy Families program.</p> <p>The Bilingual Family Support Worker (BFSW) will:</p> <ul> <li>Managing and provide client-centered, culturally competent services. </li><li>Initiate and maintain regular and long-term contact/support with families. </li><li>Conduct regularly scheduled home visits with a family-centered and strength-based approach. </li><li>Assist families in strengthening parent-child relationship, improving family support system, and establishing goals. </li><li>Increase family's ability to problem solve and assume the role of advocate for themselves and their children. </li></ul> <p>Position Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma or equivalent. </li><li>Ability to speak, understand, read, and write in English and Spanish. </li><li>Experience in working with or providing services to children and families. </li><li>Experience and willingness to work with the culturally diverse populations </li><li>Knowledge of infant and child development. </li><li>Regular local travel. </li></ul> <p>The Villages of Indiana offers a team-oriented environment for case managers, social workers, and other child, family, and social services professionals with flexible scheduling, competitive pay, and benefits package.</p> <p>The Villages is Indianas largest private non-profit provider of Child and Family services, including Foster Care.
