The Dean will serve as a key member of the building leadership team, supporting instructional excellence, student culture, and daily operations.</p> <p>In this role, you will inspire staff and students by championing high-quality instruction, including our problem-based learning (PBL) model, while supporting the intellectual and personal development of every child. The Elementary Dean works closely with the Principal to ensure a safe, positive, and achievement-focused learning environment. This role emphasizes student behavior systems, staff support, family communication, and the consistent implementation of school-wide expectations aligned with our mission and core values.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <p>Student Culture and Climate</p> <p>? Support and oversee implementation of school-wide behavior systems and restorative practices.</p> <p>? Promote a safe, inclusive, and positive elementary school climate.</p> <p>? Collaborate with counselors, teachers, and support staff to address student</p> <p>social-emotional and behavioral needs.</p> <p>? Monitor student discipline data and implement proactive improvement strategies.</p> <p>Instructional and Staff Support</p> <p>? Partner with teachers to ensure strong classroom management and consistent expectations.</p> <p>? Support professional development related to student engagement, classroom culture, and elementary best practices.</p> <p>? Assist with supervision and evaluation processes as assigned.</p> <p>Family and Community Engagement</p> <p>? Serve as a key point of contact for family concerns related to student behavior and school culture.</p> <p>? Build strong partnerships with parents and guardians to support student growth and success.</p> <p>? Communicate clearly and consistently with families and staff.</p> <p>Operations and Compliance</p> <p>? Assist with daily building operations including supervision schedules, arrival/dismissal, and safety protocols.</p> <p>? Ensure compliance with district and state policies related to student conduct and services.</p> <p>? Maintain accurate discipline and student records.</p> <p>? Oversee and support Instructional Assistants, ensuring effective classroom support and alignment with instructional goals.</p> <p>Qualifications Required</p> <p>? Master's degree in Educational Leadership, Administration, or related field preferred.</p> <p>? Valid Colorado principal or administrator license preferred.</p> <p>? Minimum of three years of successful teaching experience at the elementary level.</p> <p>? Demonstrated knowledge of elementary student development and behavior systems.</p> <p>? Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.</p> <p>Preferred:</p> <p>? Experience with problem-based learning (PBL).</p> <p>? Knowledge of Colorado READ Act implementation.</p> <p>? Experience with Google Suite and Learning Management Systems (LMS).</p> <p>Essential Physical Requirements</p> <p>?
