<p>Location: On site at location listed in job posting.</p> <p>Weekly Scheduled Hours: Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <p>Simulating Fraud Scenarios:</p> <p>Design and execute realistic fraud scenarios to test the effectiveness of existing security measures.?This may involve attempting to bypass security controls, manipulate systems, or exploit user behavior to gain access.</p> <p>Vulnerability Assessment:</p> <p>Identifying and documenting weaknesses in fraud prevention policies, procedures, and technology.</p> <p>Security Control Testing:</p> <p>Evaluating how fraud prevention controls are implemented and whether they are effectively detecting and preventing fraud.</p> <p>Reporting and Recommendations:</p> <p>Providing detailed reports to the organization on identified vulnerabilities and control gaps, along with recommendations for remediation.</p> <p>Staying Current:</p> <p>Keeping up to date on the latest fraud trends, techniques, and industry best practices and regularly update team knowledge.</p> <p>Protecting Highly Sensitive Data:</p> <p>Understanding and protecting the highly sensitive information that results from the work as it relates to GDPR, CCPA, PCI, HIPPA, or any other regulation or policy.</p> <p>Collaboration:</p> <p>Working with other teams to improve overall security posture and design and deploy fraud detection systems and controls.</p> <p>Education and/or Work Experience:</p> <p>Bachelor's degree from a 4-year College or University, preferably in Business/Finance, Accounting, Risk Management, or Criminal Justice, or</p> <p>A 2-year degree with 5 or more years of banking experience, preferably in various roles, or</p> <p>A banking &/or fraud certification with a combination of higher education with banking and/or investigative employment exceeding 10 years.</p> <p>Required Skills:</p> <p>Strong understanding of fraud prevention and detection principles:</p> <p>Knowledge of various fraud schemes, detection methods, and industry regulations.</p> <p>Analytical and problem-solving skills:</p> <p>Ability to analyze data, identify patterns, and develop solutions.</p> <p>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills:</p> <p>Ability to clearly explain technical findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.</p> <p>Experience in financial services or risk management:</p> <p>A background in fraud prevention, risk management, and / or financial product is required. Additional experience in cybersecurity is desired.</p> <p>Ability to work independently and as part of a team:</p> <p>Team members need to be able to self-direct and collaborate with others.</p> <p>Preferred Skills / Experience:</p> <p>5+ years of experience financial crimes investigative experience in Financial Institutions, Law Enforcement, or Military.</p> <p>10+ years combined experience in banking, investigations, or Fin-Tech.</p> <p>Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:</p> <p>Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) preferred, or</p> <p>Certified AML & Fraud Professional (CAFP) or,</p> <p>Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS) or,</p> <p>Certified Financial Crimes Investigator (CFCI) or,</p> <p>Federal or State Criminal Investigator Certification.</p> <p>About Us</p> <p>First Horizon Corporation is a leading regional financial services company, dedicated to helping our clients, communities and associates unlock their full potential with capital and counsel.
