Visit us at www.acuityinc.com.</p> <p>Key Tasks & Responsibilities (Essential Functions)</p> <ul> <li>Removes throw a ways from Hand Shop kettles and carries to water hopper and after cooling transports to cullet hopper. </li><li>Assists in Hand Shop as required. (ie. Job changes, mold changes, set-up press, etc.) . </li><li>Monitors cullet convey or during job change on automatic machines conveyor. </li><li>Removes gobs from water hopper at automatic machine, cullet conveyor. </li><li>Performs Mold Boy and Carry-in duties as required. </li><li>Removes molds from hand shop machine and transport to storage table as required. </li><li>Performs general clean up and painting. (ie. rest rooms, and Hot Metal Department) </li><li>Operates forklift as required. </li><li>Assist Tank man as required. </li><li>Complete required reporting on a daily basis. </li><li>Assists others in resolving production difficulties to insure a smooth and efficient operation. </li><li>Equipment and work area clean and orderly. </li><li>Uses safe working practices and reports all hazardous conditions. </li><li>Keeps supervisor informed of material, process and equipment needs and problems. </li><li>Performs other related duties as required. </li><li>This job has no supervisory responsibilities. </li><li>To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. </li><li>Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. </li></ul> <p>Education (minimum education required)</p> <p>High School Diploma Equivalency/ GED</p> <p>Skills and Minimum Experience Required</p> <ul> <li>Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization. </li><li>Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide ni al units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
