<p>Scheduler - Home Health Care (Full-Time, 40 Hours - Day shift)</p> <p>Location: One Ford Place, Detroit</p> <p>Schedule: Onsite, 5 days per week (no remote or hybrid options)</p> <p>Description - External</p> <p>Henry Ford Home Health Care Henry Ford Home Health Care is a comprehensive network of home health products and services that focuses on the complex needs of patients and caregivers. Available programs include chronic care management, joint replacement care, specialty infusion and transplant care, wound, ostomy and continence nursing, and palliative care to name a few. Henry Ford Home Health Care's services are provided by qualified registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, certified wound, ostomy and continence nurses, physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech - language pathologists, medical social workers, dietitians, and home health aides.</p> <p>GENERAL SUMMARY:</p> <ul> <li>Responsible for processing referrals and scheduling customer visits for all Home Health Care clinical disciplines. </li><li>Act as liaison between current customers and clinicians as it pertains to service issues. </li><li>Provide office support and act as a resource for team members, medical staff, and other professionals. </li></ul> <p>EDUCATION:</p> <ul> <li>Requires high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent. </li><li>Associates degree or college coursework in business preferred. </li></ul> <p>EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:</p> <ul> <li>Requires computer proficiency, the ability to accurately type, and working knowledge of Microsoft Office. </li><li>Experience with Outlook preferred. </li><li>Requires strong organization skills, and the ability to adapt rapidly to changing priorities and tasks. </li><li>Requires strong problem-solving skills to organize the flow of work through the office in an effective manner. </li><li>Requires previous Home Health Care experience or office/administrative support experience, or the completion of a college degree. </li></ul> <p>Additional Information</p> <ul> <li>Organization: Community Care Services </li><li>Shift: Day Job </li><li>Union Code: Not Applicable </li></ul>
