Academic and functional skills learning is highly individualized based on the needs of each learner, and provides opportunities to build skills for students to become as independent as possible. At the secondary level, independent living skills are more targeted in order for students to have a successful transition from school to adult life.</p> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Valid PA Teaching Certification: Special Education PK-12 or7-12 </li><li>Experience with students with special needs, preferred </li></ul> <p>Terms of Employment:</p> <p>Full-Time, 190 days</p> <p>Salary: LIUEA Pay Scale (As of 7/1/2025 Bach. min $59,172.22, Mast. min (up to 44 credits) $63,672.22), plus benefits*</p> <ul> <li>The LIU offers a generous benefits package to full-time employees, including: </li><li>Medical (for a nominal premium), dental and vision insurance.
