<p>TITLE: Teacher</p> <p>QUALIFICATIONS: 1. Bachelor's Degree in Education or related field from an accredited institution.</p> <ol start="2"> <li> <p>Appropriate education and licensure/certification as required by the Indiana Department of Education.</p> </li><li> <p>Previous teaching experience is preferred but not required.</p> </li><li> <p>Strong understanding of Indiana State Standards and educational best practices.</p> </li><li> <p>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.</p> </li><li> <p>Strong organizational and time-management skills.</p> </li><li> <p>Proficiency in using educational technology and software tools.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to manage classroom dynamics effectively.</p> </li></ol> <p>REPORTS TO: Principal / Assistant Principal</p> <p>JOB GOAL: To foster a love of learning while leading students toward the fulfillment of their potential for intellectual, emotional, and psychological growth and maturation.</p> <p>PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:</p> <ul> <li>Develops, implements, and maintains documentation of lesson plans that align with relevant curriculum standards. </li><li>Creates a positive classroom environment conducive to learning and growth. </li><li>Assesses and monitors student progress through various and frequent evaluation methods. </li><li>Employs a variety of instructional techniques and instructional media; adapts teaching methods and materials to meet the needs of all learners. </li><li>Communicates effectively with students, parents, and staff to support student development. </li><li>Participates in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills. </li><li>Supports school and district vision, mission, and goals through the exercise of professional responsibilities, including cooperating with other staff members in developing instructional goals, objectives, and methods. </li><li>Takes all necessary and reasonable precautions to protect students, equipment, materials, and facilities. </li><li>Maintains accurate, complete, and correct records as required by law, district policy, and administrative regulation. </li><li>Assists in upholding and enforcing school rules, administrative regulations, and Board policy. </li><li>Makes provision for being available to students and parents for education-related purposes outside the instructional day when required or requested to do so under reasonable terms. </li><li>Other duties as assigned. </li></ul>
