General/Admin - 926</p> <p>Primary Purpose:</p> <p>Supervises assigned marketing efforts within Corporate Marketing & PR to ensure efforts align with strategic marketing priorities and programs and promote ARUP's brand. Works closely with the Manager of Corporate Marketing & PR and the Vice President of Marketing to ensure optimal communication and coordination with the broader Corporate Marketing team and with Sales, Market Research and Test Product Management, Revenue Management, Contracting, Customer Experience Products, and all technical departments.</p> <p>About ARUP:</p> <p>ARUP Laboratories is a national clinical and anatomic pathology reference laboratory and an enterprise of the University of Utah and its Department of Pathology. Consider joining our dynamic team.</p> <p>Essential Functions:</p> <p>Supervises select marketing specialists and designers within Corporate Marketing & PR</p> <p>Trains and mentors marketing specialists and designers to help them develop in-depth knowledge about and understanding of their key stakeholders, audiences, and channels</p> <p>Trains and mentors marketing specialists, visual content creators, and designers to help them build and improve their marketing, communications, and brand storytelling skills</p> <p>Trains and mentors marketing specialists and designers to help them gain technical expertise in areas such as workflow, project, and campaign management, marketing automation, email marketing, etc.</p> <p>Works with marketing specialists and designers on creative briefs and project plans for strategic marketing programs and projects</p> <p>Works with marketing specialists and designers to evaluate the performance of strategic marketing programs and projects; and oversees performance reporting for the department.</p> <p>Facilitates team members' collaboration and planning with one another, with medical content specialists, and with production editors</p> <p>Facilitates team members' collaboration and planning with internal stakeholders</p> <p>Monitors competitor efforts; listens to trends and sentiments to improve marketing</p> <p>Other duties as assigned</p> <p>Physical and Other Requirements:</p> <p>Stooping: Bending body downward and forward by bending spine at the waist.</p> <p>Reaching: Extending hand(s) and arm(s) in any direction.</p> <p>Mobility: The person in this position needs to occasionally move between work sites and inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.</p> <p>Communicate: Frequently and effectively communicate with others.</p> <p>PPE: Biohazard laboratory environment that requires use of personal protective equipment in accordance with CDC and OSHA regulations and company policies.</p> <p>ARUP Policies and Procedures: To conduct self in compliance with all ARUP Policies and Procedures.</p> <p>Sedentary Work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.</p> <p>Continuing Education: Continual assessment of current literature and best practices.</p> <p>Travel: Ability to travel off-site up to 30% of time.</p>
