<p>REPOSTED ON OCTOBER 21, 2022</p> <p>ACHIEVERS FIT:</p> <ul> <li>Demonstrates alignment and commitment to Achievers Early College Prep's mission, core beliefs, and educational philosophy </li><li>Adaptable in a growing environment; Is flexible and solutions-oriented </li><li>Evidence of self-motivation, taking initiatives, and willingness to be a team player </li><li>Unwavering commitment to feedback, improvement, practice, and notion of "I'M ALL IN!" </li><li>Culturally aware, culturally sensitive, and asset-based thinking </li></ul> <p>Essential Functions:</p> <ul> <li>Maintain and clean building and grounds as specified in the School Maintenance Manual </li><li>Clean classrooms between students transitions throughout the day to promote health and wellness in the school building </li><li>Restock hand sanitizers, wipes, and alert operations team when supplies need to be ordered </li><li>Set up breakfast and lunch for students, as well as grab-and-go meals for community members </li><li>Make minor repairs </li><li>Run errands as needed </li><li>Move packages and furniture when this can be done safely </li><li>Alert the administration of safety and security concerns </li><li>Alert the administration of any damage or vandalism to the building </li><li>Ensure that walkways and stairways are free of ice and snow (the school has a snow removal contract with an outside vendor) </li><li>Interact in a professional way with all staff, students, and parents </li><li>Serve as a positive role model for students </li><li>Organize and order maintenance supplies and equipment </li><li>Maintain a list of cleaning products and all documentation </li></ul> <p>Essential Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma or GED </li><li>Local resident preferred: Trenton, Ewing, or Hamilton, NJ but not required </li><li>Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and written </li><li>Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred </li><li>Experience cleaning and maintaining floors, bathrooms, and making minor repairs. </li><li>Valid Driver's License </li><li>Must pass State of NJ criminal history check </li><li>Good interpersonal skills </li><li>Good references from previous employer </li></ul> <p>Role Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Boiler License Required </li><li>Full-Time (40 hours/week) </li><li>Hours: 7:00 AM- 3:30 PM </li><li>Occasional late evenings and weekends </li></ul>
