We invite you to be part of our community, where you can grow your career and serve with your heart.</p> <p>In our time of Company growth, we are seeking an Operating Room Nurse (RN).</p> <p>Work Location: Bradenton, FL.</p> <p>As part of this role, you will:</p> <ul> <li>Perform a comprehensive assessment of the patient's clinical condition and psycho-social needs, including caregiver needs, during the perioperative period </li><li>Observe behavioral and physiologic changes due to medications; take appropriate action and document </li><li>Demonstrate knowledge of drugs, actions, and side effects of medications administered </li><li>Protect the patient's right to privacy </li><li>Provide the patient with explanations and verbal reassurances as appropriate </li><li>Communicate clearly and concisely, assessment and reassessment of the patient in charting and with notification of surgeon and/or anesthesiologist as necessary; collaborates with all other health-care personnel and physicians in the delivery of coordinated patient care </li><li>Provide the patient with explanations and verbal reassurances as appropriate </li><li>Assess patient's physical and emotional response(s) to treatment(s); observes behavioral and physiologic changes due to medications, takes appropriate action, and documents interventions and response to interventions </li></ul> <p>What you need to bring to this role:</p> <ul> <li>RN in good standing with the Florida Board of Nursing is required </li><li>Minimum of 1 year of experience in professional nursing experience preferred </li><li>Current BLS Certification through the American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or American Safety and Health Institute Required </li><li>Cardio Department ONLY: ACLS Certification through the American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or American Health and Safety Institute Required </li><li>Microsoft Office Products - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint proficiency preferred </li><li>Certification as an Operating Room Nurse (CNOR) preferred </li><li>3-5 years of experience as a nurse providing perioperative care preferred </li><li>Previous experience in Cath Lab, Electrophysiology, or Invasive Vascular experience preferred </li><li>Exceptional knowledge of surgical instruments and equipment, as well as sterile techniques preferred </li><li>Proficiency in recordkeeping and patient management systems, such as eHospital and PatientTrak, preferred </li></ul>
