<p>Duties And Responsibilities:</p> <p>Reporting directly to the Maintenance Supervisor, the Multi-Skilled Repairman's responsibilities would include, but not be limited to, the following:</p> <ul> <li>Troubleshoots, operates, repairs, adjusts, and maintains all related equipment, mechanical and electrical, involved with running production. </li><li>Develops standard operating procedures. </li><li>Provides training for equipment operation. </li><li>Lubricates and cleans parts, installs, sets up and operates all types of equipment and machine tools. </li><li>Performs any dismantling, fitting or assembly work required for maintenance. </li><li>Practices and reinforces all safety practices and procedures. </li><li>Participates on safety and KATA improvement teams. Perform other work which may be assigned by Supervisor. </li><li>Keeps work area safe, clean, and organized. </li><li>May be required to work in various departments and to perform other duties as required or assigned. </li></ul> <p>Job Requirements</p> <p>Qualifications:</p> <p>In addition to the specific responsibilities listed above, the ideal candidate will possess the following:</p> <p>Minimum Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Previous working experience in a high-speed manufacturing environment. </li><li>Proven work experience in troubleshooting, repairing, and working with tools and machinery. </li><li>Safety-oriented. </li><li>Must be able to work 8-12 hour rotating shifts. </li><li>Must be able to work 12-hour shifts and/or overtime as needed. </li><li>Mechanical and electrical experience. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Requirements</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or equivalent. </li><li>Electrical knowledge/troubleshooting skills. </li><li>Electronic experience as well as PLC and VFD experience. </li><li>Ability to read blueprints, sketches, machine parts or specifications to determine type and dimensions of stock required. </li><li>Experience with safety guards, limit switches, lock-out/tag-out, proper use of hand and power tools, confined space and hot work permits. </li><li>Welding experience. </li><li>Air compressor maintenance experience. </li><li>Forklift operation experience. </li></ul> <p>Competencies</p> <ul> <li>Effective written, verbal, and interpersonal skills. </li><li>Ability to work independently or with a team. </li><li>Problem-solving skills. </li></ul> <p>Travel</p> <p>None/Not Specified</p> <p>Crown is an equal opportunity employer.
