Join us and be part of our story-apply today!</p> <p>We're looking for a Casemaker Operator Trainee to join our Bindery team! In this role, you'll learn to set up, operate, and maintain the 1940 Sheridan Casemaker, which produces hardcover cases for books! You'll work under the guidance of a Casemaker Operator Trainer while supporting production, monitoring quality, and ensuring safe and efficient operations.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Prepare and assemble materials according to work order specifications. </li><li>Load boards, monitor glue levels, and feed raw materials into the Sheridan Casemaker. </li><li>Assist with machine setup and operation to meet production and quality standards. </li><li>Read a ruler and take precise measurements; use calculators and measurement tools to verify accuracy. </li><li>Record production counts, update logs, and communicate material needs to forklift operators. </li><li>Maintain a clean, lubricated, and debris-free machine and work area. </li><li>Follow ISO, JWI, SOP, and trainer instructions during all operations. </li><li>Perform preventative maintenance and routine cleaning of equipment. </li><li>Support safety, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Familiarity with bindery operations or mechanical processes (preferred but not required). </li><li>Basic computer skills, strong reading comprehension, and math skills (fractions/decimals). </li><li>Mechanical aptitude, dependability, and strong attention to detail. </li><li>Ability to follow instructions, communicate clearly, and work as part of a team. </li></ul> <p>Starting Rate: $17hr (BiWeekly)</p> <p>Work Schedule:</p> <ul> <li>3rd shift - Monday to Friday - 11:30 PM - 7:30 AM </li></ul> <p>Help us bring stories to life-join the BPG-USA team today!</p> <p>This position is subject to a Pre-Employment Background Check, Drug Screening, and Employment Verification.</p>
