<p>Comcast Advertising is driving the TV advertising industry forward, from delivering ads to linear and digital audiences to pioneering the tech that makes it possible. We help brands connect with their audiences on every screen using advanced data, technology, and premium video content. Our media sales division helps local, regional, and national brands reach potential customers through multiscreen TV advertising. Our ad tech division FreeWheel provides comprehensive adtech that makes it easier to buy and sell premium video advertising across all screens, data types, and sales channels.</p> <p>Job Summary</p> <p>The Sales Operations and Initiatives team is at the forefront of the ongoing transformation of the Media Solutions division at Comcast Advertising. This team spearheads creating and leading strategic plans for the sales teams (both long term and short term) to ensure the effective long-term growth revenue and profitability. Operationally, the Strategic Initiative team works cross-functionally with partner organizations and relevant operating groups such as sales, product, engineering, finance, HR and many more teams.</p> <p>The Analyst of Strategic Initiatives plays a critical role in enhancing the performance and efficiency of our sales organization. This position is responsible for supporting the successful deployment of strategic initiatives and programs within the sales team. These initiatives are based on thorough analysis and include go-to-market plans related to sales strategies, new product innovations, product enhancements, systems, and tools that align with our operating plan goals.</p> <p>This employee must have high emotional intelligence, with the ability to partner with all areas of the business. This includes collaborating with leadership, sales, product strategy, product marketing, research & data, architecture, sales support teams and learning & development teams.</p> <p>The employee must have effective project management and communication skills and be able to drive action. The ideal candidate has program & project management, data analysis and/or strategic planning & deployment experience. This role will report into the Manager of Strategic Initiatives.</p> <p>Job Description</p> <ul> <li>Supports the creation of strategic plans for new and existing initiatives that address key challenges and opportunities, ensuring the engagement of the right stakeholders (Marketing, Sales Development, Sales, Finance, Yield, Product) from across the organization. </li><li>Supports the execution of Sales Initiatives Performance Review and Management: Defines KPIs for new initiatives, periodically reviews ongoing initiatives by monitoring KPIs, and optimizes where needed through cross-functional partnerships. </li><li>Executes post-launch accountability of strategic initiatives to ensure all objectives continue to be achieved. </li><li>Support the coordination initiatives with cross-functional teams to pursue growth or cost-saving opportunities. </li><li>Ensures alignment of initiatives with organization-wide sales operations and best practices. </li><li>Pull key data and create reports based on the needs of the Sales Operations and Initiatives leaders. </li><li>Supports the creation and optimization of call scripts and sales playbooks for inbound and outbound BDRs. </li><li>Assists sales and sales development with changes and updates needed to refresh and optimize sales collateral. </li><li>Uncovers best practices and areas of concern in the adoption of strategy and addresses them directly with relevant leaders. </li><li>Maintains project reports, strategic initiative narrative and distribution of project timelines. </li><li>Implements sales engagement tools and technology to maximize seller efficiencies. </li><li>Coordinates implementing sales process optimization solutions partnered with many cross-functional partners. </li><li>Supports the creation, maintenance, and publishing of a sales playbook for the sales organization. </li><li>Must be proficient in PowerPoint and Excel </li><li>Gathers feedback through various channels to increase optimization. </li><li>Ensures compliance with all company policies are being followed. </li><li>Coordinates readouts on areas of process optimization. </li><li>Supports the creation of solution options, risks, costs vs benefits and impact to business current processes and operations. </li><li>Maintains technical expertise and sales proficiency to meet the reporting needs on client activity. </li><li>Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance. </li><li>Uses analytical skills and business judgment to solve problems with limited information at hand. </li><li>Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary. </li><li>Some domestic travel required. </li><li>Other duties and responsibilities as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Responsible for supporting the scoping, planning, executing, and evaluating strategic initiatives according to predetermined timelines and budgets. Coordinates project teams ensuring quality control throughout the initiative life cycle. Accomplishes initiative objectives by planning and evaluating project activities. Coordinates with partners to develop financial and operational objectives. Ensures operational plans are aligned with business objectives.
