Bachelor's Degree in related health sciences field or equivalent preferred.</p> <p>EXPERIENCE</p> <p>5 Years EMS Experience as a Paramedic, 3 years of EMS leadership experience, 3 years QA/QI experience. Critical Care paramedic experience preferred</p> <p>LICENSURE</p> <p>National Registry Paramedic, CT Paramedic License, AHA ACLS, BLS, PALS Instructor certifications, CT Emergency Medical Services Instructor required. Essential duties and responsibilities include the</p> <p>following. Other duties may be assigned.</p> <p>Responsible for the oversight of the EMS Continuing Education programs.</p> <p>Schedules CME (6 programs) annually.</p> <p>Serves as the liaison for the EMT clinical rotation program .</p> <p>Serves as the liaison for the paramedic clinical rotation program.</p> <p>Oversees the hospital QI-EMS program.</p> <p>Conducts reviews of prehospital patient care reports (PCR).</p> <p>Works with EMS Medical director and BH EMS physician on issues of clinical non-compliance.</p> <p>Schedules peer review QI sessions with paramedics.Serves as liaison to local EMS, fire and police agencies.</p> <p>Assists the trauma program.</p> <p>Assists with quality improvement activities.</p> <p>Provides supports to continuing education programs.</p> <p>Performs ACS verifications.</p> <p>Assists with quality improvement activities.</p> <p>Assists with new program development.</p>
