Howden's core focus is on providing quality solutions for air and gas handling and have over a century of experiences in doing so.</p> <p>We are currently seeking an experienced Welder based at our Windsor, CT location.</p> <p>What Will You Do?</p> <ul> <li>Weld components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions </li><li>Perform TIG and MIG welding on a daily basis </li><li>Reviews blueprints, work instructions, and job specifications to determine appropriate materials, tools, and procedures needed to complete processes </li><li>Layout, position, align, and secure parts and assemblies prior to assembly, using straightedges, combination squares, calipers, and rulers </li><li>Weld separately or in combination, using aluminum and stainless steel </li><li>Clamp, hold, tack-weld, heat-bend, grind, or bolt component parts to obtain required configurations and positions for welding </li><li>Perform all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures </li><li>Maintain a clean and safe work area </li></ul> <p>Your Physical Work Environment Will Require…</p> <p>Standing, stooping, bending. Able to lift up to 25lbs. Wear PPE which includes welding helmet.</p> <p>Your Experience Should Be...</p> <p>High school diploma or GED.</p> <ul> <li>5 plus years of welding experience. </li><li>Must possess mechanical aptitude </li><li>Current and valid certification a plus </li><li>Ability to work overtime as needed. </li></ul> <p>Our Benefits Package...</p> <p>Medical, Dental, Vision and other benefits</p>
