By bridging the gap between research and real-world application, we enable the development of AI and machine learning systems and remain a trusted innovation partner for future-proofing our customers' success.</p> <p>Job Summary</p> <p>We are seeking a Senior DSP Architect to lead the design and development of signal processing architectures and algorithms for next-generation physical layer/mixed-signal SoCs. This role is central to creating high-performance, power- and area-efficient DSP solutions for advanced automotive transceivers. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams across system, hardware, and software to deliver high-speed, reliable, and scalable communication technologies.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <p>DSP Architecture Design</p> <ul> <li>Define system-level requirements and performance metrics for automotive communication DSP systems </li><li>Architect and drive the development of signal processing hardware and algorithms </li></ul> <p>Algorithm Development</p> <ul> <li>Design, implement, and optimize signal processing algorithms (e.g., equalization, noise reduction, filtering) for real-time, power-sensitive applications </li><li>Ensure algorithms meet automotive reliability and safety standards </li></ul> <p>Modeling, Simulation & Validation</p> <ul> <li>Develop models using MATLAB, Simulink, or C++ for performance analysis </li><li>Simulate and validate DSP algorithms in both pre- and post-silicon phases </li><li>Collaborate with validation and test teams to ensure algorithm correctness and robustness </li></ul> <p>Cross-Functional Collaboration</p> <ul> <li>Partner with hardware engineers, software developers, and systems teams for seamless DSP integration </li><li>Contribute to architecture discussions and trade-off analyses across disciplines </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Master's or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field </li><li>5+ years of experience in DSP architecture and algorithm design for high-performance, low-power systems </li><li>Strong expertise in digital signal processing theory and implementation </li><li>Proficiency with DSP modeling tools (MATLAB, Simulink, C++) </li><li>Demonstrated experience delivering efficient algorithms in commercial semiconductor products </li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to make decisions with incomplete data </li><li>Excellent communication and teamwork skills </li><li>Proactive and adaptable mindset with a willingness to go beyond core responsibilities </li></ul> <p>Preferred Additional Qualification (any):</p> <ul> <li>Familiarity with Ethernet physical layer transceivers </li><li>Knowledge of ASIC/VLSI design and implementation </li><li>Experience across multiple full ASIC design and NPI cycles </li><li>Proficiency in Python for scripting and automation </li><li>Understanding of automotive safety standards (e.g., ISO 26262) </li></ul> <p>Compensation</p> <ul> <li>Base salary range: $180,000 - $220,000 USD </li><li>The actual starting base pay will be determined based on a variety of factors, including job-related skills, experience, qualifications, and work location.
