Willingness to work overtime a must.</p> <p>The Shipping and Receiving Lead oversees logistics operations, ensuring efficient movement of goods, training staff, and maintaining quality standards.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li> <p>Manage Shipping and Receiving Operations: Oversee all shipping and receiving activities, ensuring timely and accurate processing of goods.</p> </li><li> <p>Team Leadership: Train and supervise shipping and receiving staff, acting as a liaison between management and the team.</p> </li><li> <p>Quality Control: Perform quality checks on outgoing shipments to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.</p> </li><li> <p>Documentation and Compliance: Maintain accurate shipping records, including packing lists and bills of lading (BOL), ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements.</p> </li><li> <p>Collaboration: Work closely with production teams, customer service, and logistics partners to coordinate shipment statuses and resolve discrepancies.</p> </li><li> <p>Inventory Management: Record all activities in the inventory management system, updating stock levels as necessary.</p> </li><li> <p>Safety and Efficiency: Adhere to safety regulations and best practices in all activities, operating material handling equipment safely.</p> </li></ul> <p>Experience</p> <ul> <li> <p>Previous experience in shipping and receiving, logistics, or warehouse operations is preferred, typically requiring 3-7 years.</p> </li><li> <p>Understanding of shipping processes, inventory control, and compliance with safety standards.</p> </li><li> <p>Communication Skills: Strong communication skills are essential for effective collaboration with team members and external partners.</p> </li><li> <p>Detail-Oriented: Attention to detail is crucial for maintaining accurate records and ensuring quality control.</p> </li><li> <p>Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and operate forklifts and other material handling equipment.</p> </li><li> <p>Compensation: Hourly pay rate of $28.00 (DOE) + medical, dental, vision, PTO, 401K with company match.
