<p>Zachary Piper Solutions is hiring an VRF Technician to support our client as the focus on various HVAC services. This is a contracting role on-site at Charleston, SC. The VRF Technician will work on repairing, maintaining, and installing various VRF systems from manufacturers. This is a great role in the growing South Carolina market.</p> <p>Responsibilities for the VRF Technician:</p> <ul> <li>Perform diagnostics, repair, and maintenance on VRF systems from manufacturers such as LG, Mitsubishi, Daikin, Samsung, and Trane. </li><li>Troubleshoot communication networks, inverter boards, sensors, EEVs, and control wiring using OEM service tools and schematics. </li><li>Conduct commissioning and startup of new VRF systems, ensuring refrigerant charge accuracy, network integrity, and control setup. </li><li>Utilize manufacturer diagnostic software for data logging, parameter monitoring, and system tuning. </li><li>Identify and repair refrigerant leaks, perform nitrogen pressure testing, and vacuum and recharge systems in compliance with EPA and manufacturer guidelines. </li><li>Evaluate system performance, document operating parameters, and provide data-driven recommendations for optimization and energy efficiency. </li></ul> <p>Required Qualifications for the VRF Technician:</p> <ul> <li>Confidence with VRF systems from manufacturers such as LG, Mitsubishi, Daikin, Samsung, and Trane. </li><li>Provide on-site technical training and guidance to less experienced technicians and customers on VRF operation and maintenance. </li></ul> <p>Compensation for the VRF Technician:</p> <ul> <li>Salary range: $95,000 - $110,000 <em>depending on experience</em> </li><li>Comprehensive Benefits: health insurance, dental, vision, and life insurance, etc. </li></ul> <p>This job This job opens for applications on 12/2/2025.
