<p>Responsibilities</p> <p>Seeking a Diesel Mechanic B to help with repairs and maintenance on trailer/tractor equipment:</p> <p>Shift: Full-Time l 3rd Shift l 10:00PM-6:30AM Monday-Friday Pay: $30.30 + 0.20 shift differential = $30.50/HR</p> <p>CDL Incentive Pay-($1.00 additionally with active CDL A license)</p> <p>Perks and Benefits:</p> <ul> <li>ASE certification incentive pay </li><li>Paid Time off and holiday pay </li><li>Career advancement opportunities after 6 months of employment </li><li>Health, dental, and vision coverage </li><li>Reyes Rewards and referral bonuses </li><li>Union Benefits </li></ul> <p>Position Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>The Fleet Technician focuses on the preventative maintenance of the fleet diesel equipment, identifying root causes of basic failures to perform repairs as needed </li><li>As the Fleet Technician, you will complete thorough documentation for work orders of repairs and preventative maintenance </li><li>You will inspect brake systems to ensure that machines are in proper operating condition and make sure that equipment has required licensing and registration </li><li>You will use hand tools and power tools such as screwdrivers and perform routine maintenance such as changing oil, checking batteries, and lubricating equipment and machinery </li><li>You will examine and adjust protective guards, loose bolts, and specified safety devices </li><li>Other duties as assigned </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>Required Education and Experience:</p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) and 1 to 2 plus years of related experience </li><li>Ability to frequently lift 50 pounds, occasionally lift 100 pounds </li><li>Must possess own tools (have minimum tool requirement) </li><li>Valid driver's license and acceptable motor vehicle record in compliance with Department of Transportation regulations to operate applicable company vehicles </li></ul> <p>Preferred Education and Experience:</p> <ul> <li>Technical School Certification </li></ul> <p>Essential Information for Our Employees</p> <p>At the Reyes Family of Businesses, our Total Rewards Strategy prioritizes the holistic well-being of our employees, and our compensation philosophy embraces diverse factors for fair pay decisions, valuing skills, experience, and the needs of our business.
