We are searching for an educator invested in the achievement, equity, and access of all learners in and beyond the classroom. About Us: The Sherwood Middle School community serves approximately 930 students in grades five and six. Sherwood Middle School has a 1:1 iPad program for all students and uses Schoology as a learning management system. The mission of Sherwood Middle School is: To provide a safe, respectful, and nurturing environment in which the entire learning community addresses the unique developmental needs of 5th and 6th grade students. To encourage students to reach their academic, artistic, social, emotional, and physical potential. To prepare students to be productive citizens both in and out of school. Excellent communication skills with parents/caretakers and colleagues Demonstrates the values of Shrewsbury Public Schools and Sherwood Middle School Strong knowledge of middle school student needs and programming Works flexibly in a changing school environment Salary for this position will be based on the SEA contract.
