With our expertise and state-of-the-art facilities, we ensure efficient and seamless operations from start to finish.</p> <p>Role overview & responsibilities</p> <p>Reporting to the Supervisor, the Warehouse Utility I is responsible for being cross-trained to cover multiple areas in the warehouse, which may include manual sortation, use of painting equipment, facility maintenance including but not limited to, compactor/baler, pallet painting, and forklift operation, depending on the operational needs of the facility.</p> <ul> <li>Sorting pallets, RPCs, boxes, or other material by hand or with machine assistance in a neat and orderly fashion. </li><li>Operating Baler by swapping full totes of bad boxes with empty totes, keeping track of damaged cardboard by counting boxes and using tick sheet, placing damaged boxes in baler, tying bales with wire strands, ejecting bales, and calling forklift operator for safe removal of bales. </li><li>Ensuring quality painting of pallets and use of painting equipment. </li><li>Maintaining a clean work environment and sweeping debris around warehouse and dock areas. </li><li>Inspecting items while sorting to ensure criteria is met and maintain established rate per man hour. </li><li>Sorting items by vendor and processing at an established rate per hour. </li><li>Ensuring compliance and following all safety and PLA policies and procedures. </li><li>Complete other duties as assigned to support and improve the overall team operations. </li><li>Reporting relationships, work assignments, and work schedules are subject to change to meet the company needs and business requirements. </li></ul> <p>What you'll need</p> <ul> <li>No prior experience necessary. </li><li>The ability to meet fast-paced productivity goals and standards and in a physically demanding warehouse environment. </li><li>Must be open to learning new skills.
