<p>Summary: Responsible for overseeing the daily activities of the Asset Quality Review ('AQR') Analysts, , post-closing covenant/tickler tracking, risk rating the Commercial Real Estate/Multifamily (CRE/MF) portfolio loans, assisting in credit quality and asset concentration reporting, as well as serving as a conduit between loan underwriting, special assets, and loan servicing. Oversee the review of investor portfolios in accordance with investor's requirements.</p> <p>Salary Range: The salary range budgeted for this position is $101,800/yr to $150,700/yr and represents the Company's good faith minimum and maximum range for this role at the time of posting. The compensation offered to a candidate may vary depending on several factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, and location.</p> <p>The Company also offers various benefits, including medical, dental, vision, and a 401(K) match. Other rewards may include annual performance-based bonuses and wellness days.</p> <p>Applicants must have current work authorization when accepting a First Foundation Inc. position. Currently, we cannot sponsor or take over the sponsorship of an Employment Visa.</p> <p>Duties and Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Understands and complies with requirements of all laws and regulations applicable to the position. </li><li>Understands and complies with requirements of the Bank's Credit Policy. </li><li>Supervise the daily activities of the AQR Analysts. </li><li>Interview, hire and train AQR Analysts. </li><li>Oversee the review of investor loans in accordance with investor requirements, manage investor related inquiries and requests and the timely submission of required investor reports. </li><li>Coordinate the oversight and resolution of hazard insurance claims in coordination with the client, Loan Servicing and Construction departments. </li><li>Manage the process of requesting updated financial information for the properties collateralizing the loans and borrowers and guarantors. </li><li>Oversee the process of tracking and clearing of post-closing agreements and covenants for the CRE/MF portfolios. </li><li>Meet with lending unit managers to discuss findings and recommend solutions to open items or policy exceptions. </li><li>Recommending upgrades and downgrades to risk ratings on loans. </li><li>Make recommendations to enhance or modify existing Credit Policy and lending underwriting guidelines and maintain sound AQR procedures to ensure comprehensive and timely review of the CRE/MF portfolios. </li><li>Perform other duties and assignments as directed. </li></ul> <p>Supervisory Responsibilities: This position supervises the Asset Quality Review Analysts.</p> <p>Qualifications:</p> <p>To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.</p> <p>Education and/or Experience:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work experience. </li><li>Minimum 10-15 years of experience in residential lending, including management of personnel, underwriting, document preparation and funding of multifamily and commercial real estate loans. </li><li>Excellent customer service ethics and verbal/written communication skills. PC proficiency in Microsoft Office. </li></ul> <p>Skills:</p> <ul> <li>Excellent verbal and written communications skills in technical and non-technical settings and the ability to interact confidently with the Executive Management team </li><li>Proven leadership skills </li><li>PC proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel </li><li>Highly organized and flexible </li><li>Ability to work under pressure and within prescribed deadlines </li><li>Organized, independent, and self-motivated with a team player attitude </li><li>Present a professional image in dealing with customers, interdepartmental and external representatives </li></ul> <p>Physical Demands:</p> <p>The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
