<p>Kforce has a client in Denver, CO that is seeking a Senior Business Analyst.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>The Senior BA will Act as principal liaison for business stakeholders and as a key point-of-contact to Technology Services, internal/external agencies, and vendors on their behalf </li><li>Facilitate team understanding and elicit requirements for systems, integrations, and future state functionality </li><li>Partner with business stakeholders to identify problems/opportunities, assist in developing these into project/initiatives, and work within Technology Services to move these into the project pipeline </li><li>Understand business processes and system capabilities for complex, integrated systems </li><li>Work with vendors to understand system intricacies and process needs to advocate for the best possible solution </li><li>Utilize Azure Dev Ops (ADO) for all project tracking purposes </li><li>Create functional process fit/gap analysis documentation which identifies and recommends resolution of any process, system, and integration related gaps </li><li>Make suggestions for any as-is or to-be processes which are lacking and/or present a risk and help mitigate them, before they become an issue </li><li>Follow TS best practices: documentation, project, and change management processes </li><li>Collaborate with business stakeholders, Technology Services teams, internal/external agencies, vendors, et. al to support the city of Denver's mission, vision, and goals5+ years of experience as a current Business Analysis which should include at least 2 years of experience performing lead-level work for multi-sized projects, including: </li><li>Managing process analysis & improvement activities which impact multiple teams/departments </li><li>Identifying, recommending, and delivering recommendations to improve enterprise-wide systems </li><li>Performing technical process evaluation for highly integrated technology software system environments </li><li>Creating process & system diagrams for current and future system & process documentation </li><li>Delivering documentation converted for training or making course materials for end users </li><li>Creating process handoff and system integration diagrams for all related systems </li><li>Excellent team collaboration, delivering results with peers, customers, & vendors </li><li>Help technical and non-technical team members understand how/why process handoffs impact requirements, systems, and integrations between systems </li><li>Documenting workflows in a clear and concise manner for utilization by internal users and organizational decision makers </li><li>Generating requirements for integration of new tools into existing technical architecture </li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills </li><li>Self-organization/self-starter </li><li>Customer experience focused </li><li>Effective in facilitating customer engagements </li><li>Problem analysis/root cause analysis </li><li>Effective in preparing for and delivering presentations (varying material) </li><li>Skilled in consensus building and conflict management </li><li>Ability to effectively negotiate </li><li>Must be able to obtain CJIS Certification within 90 days from start date </li></ul> <p>Preferred:</p> <ul> <li>ITIL/ITSM </li><li>Agile/Scrum </li><li>Business Process Management (BPM) </li><li>Lean Six Sigma/Lean process development </li><li>Change Management </li><li>Business case development and delivery </li><li>Accela or similar workflow platforms </li><li>Experience with AI tools is a plus </li><li>Microsoft Office including Visio, Azure DevOps </li></ul>
